I obtained my medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine and completed my general psychiatry residency at Stanford Hospital and Clinics where I also served as chief resident. I then completed fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Texas at Austin.
After training I worked at Kaiser Permanente in Redwood City seeing children, adolescents and adults. I served as the Assistant Chief of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and as the Medical Director of the Stanford Child and Adolescent Fellowship rotation. After leaving Kaiser I worked at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation. I continued to see the full lifespan of patients and also worked as the Education Director for Behavioral Health. In that role I taught primary care physicians how to recognize, diagnose and treat illnesses such as depression, anxiety, ADHD and bipolar disorder in their clinics.
I decided to leave that role to focus on providing the fully integrated and collaborative care I feel every patient deserves. In my clinic I offer individualized care focused on all areas of life. We explore not only how medications may help but also how your psychosocial circumstances impact your life and your symptoms.
With dual board certifications in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, I bring extensive experience to the treatment of a wide range of mental health conditions. My expertise includes managing Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, ADHD, and OCD in both children and adults. I have a particular passion for working with individuals on the autism spectrum and those with any form of neurodivergence, making this a special focus of my practice.
