Frequently Asked Questions

Are services covered by insurance?

I am not paneled with your insurance company and am considered an out-of-network provider. I will provide an invoice after appointments so that you can seek reimbursement from your insurance if they cover out-of-network care. Please contact your insurance to confirm your policy.

Are visits in person or through tele-health?

Initial visits are in person unless there are specific reasons they must be done through tele-health. This would need to be discussed ahead of the visit. Follow up visits are offered in either modality as clinically indicated and per your preference.

What are your fees?

Please fill out the New Patient Interest Form to receive a full copy of all policies including fees.

What is your cancellation and missed appointment policy?

When we schedule our appointment I am committing that time to your care. As such that time is unavailable to other patients. I respect your time and space as important to your care and essential for your treatment. For this reason all appointments will be charged the full fee if canceled with less than 48 hours notice.

How do I make an appointment?

Please fill out the new patient inquiry form. We will schedule a 20 minute free phone consultation to determine if I could be a good fit for your care. This would not establish a doctor patient relationship but we would be able to proceed with scheduling the initial evaluation.

What if I am having an emergency?

Unfortunately I am not able to see new patients quickly enough to provide adequate urgent or emergent care. If you are having a psychiatric emergency please call 911 or go to the emergency room. If you are having urgent needs please consider a Partial Hospitalization Program or Intensive Outpatient Program in your area. If you are having suicidal thoughts please call the Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 800-273-TALK (8255) or text 988.
